Hi, I’m Domen—a Certified Codeable Expert Developer with over a decade of experience in WordPress development. My journey has been shaped by curiosity, hard work, and a passion for creating solutions that make a difference.

My story began in 2012 when I was just 17 years old. I co-founded a WordPress development business and a small video agency with a friend. Mornings were spent in high school, while afternoons were dedicated to cold-calling clients and figuring out how to build websites.

It was chaotic but exciting—a time of stepping out of my comfort zone and learning as I went. Looking back, those early days truly shaped me.

By 2015, my path took an unexpected turn. A serious motorcycle accident left me in a hospital bed, facing a difficult recovery. While the accident was life-changing, it pushed me to approach everything with renewed focus and determination.

I’ve always been passionate about helping others, and after the accident, that drive became even stronger. I dreamed of becoming a motorcycle paramedic, but my injuries made that impossible. Still, I channeled that energy into my work—building websites that solve problems and transform businesses.

Over the years, I honed my skills, from coding to performance optimization. At the end of 2021, I set my sights on joining Codeable—the top community for WordPress developers. Their selection process is rigorous, with only 500 developers worldwide making the cut. After months of preparation and a tough vetting process, I became a Certified Codeable Expert.

That moment felt like the culmination of years of hard work. Being recognized among the best developers in the world was a dream come true. Codeable opened doors to exciting projects and incredible clients. It also gave me the freedom to travel and explore the world.

Outside of development, I’ve always had a love for adventure. Since childhood, when my uncle shared his stories about Africa, I dreamed of traveling on two wheels. That dream became a reality. I’ve ridden through Africa, explored Europe’s stunning landscapes—from Spain’s Andalusian passes to Switzerland’s mountains—and in 2023, I took a life-changing trip to the heart of Iran.

Today, I bring everything I’ve learned to every project I take on—whether it’s building custom features, optimizing performance, or creating full websites. I’m proud of the journey so far, and I’m excited to help others achieve their goals.
